BUENOS DIAS!!!!
Yes I am also learning Spanish and
Chinese...I cant wait to talk to Mr. Fong and speak Chinese with him!
This week not much happened!
We went to Cinque Terre today...not all
of them just Rio Maggiore and the second one I don’t remember what it is called
but it was really cool those are some pics!
One is a bunch of locks and you go there
and it’s called "via del amore" Anyways it
was really cool you then take a lock and write you and the other persons name
on it then lock it up! Obviously us as missionaries we forgot to bring our lock
so we will have to go another time.
The first pic is a bad picture of Rio
Maggiore it would have been better but the better pic I took is kinda
fuzzy.
Then there is me and my comp right down
there by the ocean chillin like two gangstas! Sooo I’m just gonna shave my head
completely when I come home there is no point in trying to have hair
anymore!!!! I don’t like this! I’m going BALD!!!!
Then the last pic is the pic of the
second town I think Manarola or something like that I do not remember exactly!
I have bad memory these days!
So how has wonderful Utah been?? Oh you
prolly wouldn’t know cause you haven’t even been there!!! man lets hope the
house is still there and some gypsies haven’t moved in!
Anyways so the week
Well lets go over food as we all know I
love to talk about food. Well this week lets say it wasn’t something so
enjoyable last p day as you know I had no money so....I had to use what money I
had to buy the groceries for the week. Usually I spend around 20 euro and
that’s without any good snacks or drinks. Maybe more around 16 anyways the
money I had on me wasn’t very much, in fact I opened up my backpack pulled out
my change holder and low and behold I had 3 euro and 80 cents.!!! Now did I pay
attention to the prices of the food!!!! I ended up getting 6 items for 3 euro
and 50 cents!!! That was amazing!!! And it was enough to get me through the
week!! MIRACLES!!!
Now I have some money to get me through
this week so that is good. I will be cooking good in the palazzo in fact I’m
gonna make a pasta with pineapple and peppers this week! Yes I will take a
picture of it for you all!! Its gonna be so good!!! Makin me very hungry! In
fact we just got back from la pia I think that’s how you spell it, a good
pizzeria in La Spezia you pay for the amount of pizza you want so if you only
want to spend 3 euro you tell them 3 euros worth of pizza and they put up on a
scale and what not then there is your 3 euro pizza!!!!! almighty so there is
the food for the week!!
So this week well there is a member in
the ward her name is Sorella Sarti she is an older lady I think I have sent a
picture of her before, anyways she just loves us and always feeds us and she
has been having a real hard time with this heat lately! So I asked her if she
had a fan and she said ya but it was really little and old so I decided to go
out and I got her a nice fan cause she doesn’t have air conditioning either and
she only has a bike so she cant really bring a fan home. Anyways we went got
her a fan and we put it together for her! At first she was very very upset I
purchased a fan for her. But then she started crying and was extremely happy
cause she has literally been dying of heat! She said her prayers have finally
been answered. She has been waiting on the branch here to help her out so we
did that and it was a very cool experience (don’t worry it was a nice fan just
a cheap one that’s a little bigger, in fact I had purchased something there
before but then decided to return it so I took it back and got a fan plus 10
euro so it was a win win situation!!!). So that was a really fun. Then we finally
met with Fabio and we got to set a baptismal date with him!!! YAY!!! We set it
up for the 11th of august!!! And also tonight there will be a boy named Francesco
who is 12 we are going to set a date with for the 11th of August!!!
Fabio really has the desire to get baptized
he just has to read the book of mormon. We had a lesson with him on Sunday
right after church and we had our new returned ex Anziano Marino who served in
the Milano mission and just got back home two weeks ago (weird he served in his
own mission...the boundaries changed while he was out.) anyways we had him help
us with the lesson and it went really well then he had to leave so he left and I
was able to bring things back into our ball park, and then presidente veuntura
came in and he just decided to teach fabio on his own....i think we gotta hold
a preach my gospel class for the members here!
Lets see some numbers for you all!!! You
ready!
Well the Italy Milan mission averages
1.9 new investigators each week. And here in Pisa we usually get maybe 1 or 2
in 6 weeks until we decided to take up the plate finally and do some good work
this week we finished with 20 lessons right on the dot and 5 new investigators
and a baptismal date those are some pretty awesome numbers I don’t want to
focus on them but that’s just so you can have an idea of how a week goes. 5 new
investigators isn’t normal usually. So this past week we have been doing a
lot of finding work and pass bys on inactive members. Long hard work but its
good. Then while we were waiting at church for our meeting I saw the book
"dottrina di salvezza " the doctrine of salvation. So i kinda
broke the rules and i opened it and read some of it! CRAZY STUFF IS IN THERE!!!
i gotta read that book (in English) when i come home!!! but I really just want
to go and do just finding work and warn everyone about the second coming and
the things that will happen and how we can prepare our selves it so nuts! got
me pumped up to go save some damsels in distress hahahahaha.
Anyways that’s really all there is for
the week so have a good week
avete un buona settimana! se hai
bisogno, puoi sempre da mi una chiamata!....not really that would be bad!
well have a good week
tell dad i say hi and hope he is doing
well there and enjoying work!
love you all
bye bye.
