P-day #57

Well thank you for the birthday wish!!! yay!!!
Ok well since last email sucked because I had no money to buy time I will do a recap with photos of last pday in beautiful Tuscany!
Are you readdddddddddy!!!???
So as you see in many of these photos there are many Tuscan hills and a cat and me!
So we went to Volterra as you may know or not Volterra is in a movie that you and Meg love! it’s called Twilight.
It’s the third photo I didn’t do a very good photo but that’s ok it’s not that important no one cares about twilight these days. Haha!
Then as we left we stopped by on the side of the road to take some pictures of the beautiful Toscana hills! Pretty sweet if I do say so myself! Most entertaining car ride ever!!! So when we come to Tuscany we will need to rent a car so we can go travel to these places well you could go on bus but that would not be as fun. So as we pulled over there was this bush with a lot of thorns making this noise and it almost sounded like a cat! Well me and Samuel decided to go and rescue it! So we did! it was a tiny little cat that we rescued on our way from volterra to san gimgnano sadly no one in the car was able to keep that cat so when we got to san gim we talked to the po po and they helped us find someone who wanted it and during that time I put it in my back pack and walked around! hahaha I was walking around with a cat in my backpack just stickin its head out! It was quite entertaining. So that was cool. We named it Charlie because that’s all we could think of!
Well while we were in san gim the place known for its many towers and something very very important it’s a little something called Gelato! I don’t know if you have ever heard of this. But san gim is the #1 place in the world for Gelato! They are the world champion....sadly it was only until 2009 so I wanted to ask who was the new world champion or if they just haven’t updated it yet! But it was some good gelato!
(the 2nd email will have all the other photos).
But it was amazing, the gelato, the car ride, the sites, the medieval places, there are still so many photos that need to be shown but only a few can I send at a time! So ya that was the last p day!
allora then after p day I think I told you already that I would have a scambio with anz hill! From the mtc! It was a really fun scambio though he is the most hilarious guy ever! Just makes the facial expressions! I will need to get a photo of him. Love it!
Then for the week let’s see here.
Well on Saturday our English class just loves us and  last week one lady went to Ireland on vacation and brought us back some Ireland mugs! I’ll be going to the pub with it that’s for sure haha!.....then this last week she brought us two pies a pineapple pie and peach pie it was going to be gelato but she changed her mind then our other student brought some calabrian salame and some peppery spaghetti sauce which I can’t wait to try!
oh ya I think I told you about shakan I think anyways he is a Bangladesh guy that we just kinda hang out with we try and teach him but he is always working at his stand but he is reading the book of mormon and every time we see him he wants to buy us a red bull or something to eat! Such a nice guy! shakan is amazing!!!! But he is a great guy I taught him the word scimmia which means monkey and now he calls all the girls scimmia"s i hope I don’t get judged for that I have clarified several times with him that he just called that girl a monkey.
also on Saturday I finally prayed to really find an investigator cause we really strugglin with the work here so I was praying all day finally we went out we went to Lucca started walking around and I saw an African who wasn’t muslim I knew instantly this was the answer to my prayer! So I started towards him but he dashed into a store so I looked in the store and didn’t see him anywhere finally we decided to wait out of the store door! We knew he would have to come out eventually we saw him and he started walking out and he fell right into our trap!!!! We talked with him and he just got to Italy and doesn’t speak Italian at all he is from Nigeria and has great faith! He is very interested in the book of mormon! yay!! Africans are such great people!!! But then after we talk with him he  we find out he lives...in Prato!!! noooooooooo so that stinks! oh well anyways my new investigator answer to my prayer came the next day at church when andrew trexler (gans guy) said he met this girl who loves the book of mormon and has so many questions  her name is benedetta so we will be meeting benedetta this week hopefully!
And my good friend Chen has returned from the great land of china! Finally!!!! Chen is back and all is well in Pisa!
Did you know that President Joseph F. Smith, when president of the Church, said to the [Maori] people of New Zealand, ‘I would like to say to you brethren and sisters from New Zealand, you are some of Hagoth’s people, and there is NO PERHAPS about it! Hagoth you find in alma 63.
Other than that tomorrow I will have a scambio with the romanian! yay!
i think i am going to go buy an armani suit today for my birthday! how would that be there only like 6k just make sure you deposit the money within 30 minutes cause armani is around the corner! Bahaha! Today for p day we are just chillin in Pisa doin nothing cause it is raining!
Oh ya then i gotta tell you this funny story
So this American couple just moved in. Just think of a classic Mormon couple all happy and goobly i dont know how to describe it. but they go and talk to this member his name is mike minks (hilarious guy one of my favorite members) he is from south Africa and a little older maybe like 67 or so but so the wife of this couple goes up and says "oh where are you from?" being mike minks he responds "you might not be able to tell from my accent but I’m black!!!!!!" hahahahaha me and my comp and pete (the husband) we all turn our heads and just start laughing! But she was in shock!!!! She didn’t know what to do or how to respond!!!! It was hilarious and the best thing is mike minks didn’t even crack a smile just looked her in the eyes and said I will need to get a photo with him before I leave!!!
Anyway I think that’s enough info for the week there has been much more that happened this week but...well there was one other thing!
Yesterday we went to sit on the wall to take a quick break we can take 15 min breaks throughout the day. So we go sit on the wall the lines the river I hear these very amusing sounds it was like angels descending from heaven on the other side of the river I quickly turn my head and see just a glimpse of what there was but not enough to really identify what was happening. I was quite sad we didn’t sit on the other side but I have patience and hope that what I heard will makes it way in front of me and what do you know here comes the police escort of several ferraries, maseratis, and some crazy alfa romeos. It was sweet!!! So many ferraris there were two that were grandpas but they were convertible. Very interesting they were....and all of them were marked on the side with "granviaggio" (great travel or something like that) well I know what i am doing when I come back! not only were there several beautiful cars all the cars were accompanied with beautiful girls! Two great blessings from the lord!!! I LOVE ITALY!!!!
you all have a great week!!!
i love you all!!!
ciao ciao anz mitchell
