Ciao ciao!
we had a conference on tuesday and we watched that talk by
President Monson!
anywho....
my thanksgiving was rather delicious and quite expensive!
my meal came to a total of 27 euro but that’s also cause i
bought the appetizer which was 7 euro cause everyone wanted it.
so it was delicious i had never eaten so much food! Appetizer of
nachos then a bbq burger then for some reason 3 of us got a dessert mix
which is all of the desserts on one plate! I wasn’t planning on getting that
but then everyone else did and there like you gotta get it. Its thanksgiving!
So i got it. it was delicious!
now for the week
you heard about my thanksgiving. so lets see
oh yes yesterday
we were knockin some doors and my comp has never gottin in while
knocking doors well lets just say i had to teach him the ways of door knocking
him serving there in firenze never did much casa. but now that he is here at a
smaller city and its cold its casa time!!! ohh ya! it was like teachin a baby
how to walk! but over the last week or so he has become a padawan in the ways
of casa speaking of padawan guess what disney bought star wars!!!! im sure you
already knew that and that there going to make 2 more episodes how crazy is
that!!! im sooo excited thats going to be awesome!!!! duh duh duh dunn du dunn
du da dunnnn.....Bzzzzzzzzzzh (lightsaber) its gonna be sick! anywho back
to some casa knockin i picked some more ghetto casa its my favorite cause
people listen in ghetto casas so anyways we were knockin and its just full of
stranieri so were knockin and knockin. and its raingin outside. finally this
door opens up and this chinese girl comes to the door she speaks abbastanza
bene italiano so thats nice no english so i used my chinese that i know(good
icebreaker)! she understood then we spoke in italian told her about the
marvelous things of our church and she gave us her number and we are going back
on friday! she is prolly 20. and now i just got to get her baptized then we can
hook her up with Lin in pisa! hahaha
so that was cool
then afterwards we knocked on this door and you could tell it
was kinda loud in there and crazy. so i told my comp this door is all his...he
was like gosh thanks! well they didnt come to the door so he felt relieved i
was like not soo fast! i knocked the door again and the lady inside said
"Avanti avanti" which means come in. well i didnt just walk in i just
asked if they could come open the door cause thats weird....but from now on if
some one says avanti to me im walking in!.....then the husband opens the door
and i looked at him....turns out he wasnt muslim looked like he was from middle
east but wasnt. right as we presented ourselves he said to come in. so we went
in sat down and its a family from Santo Domingo! so we taught them as well we
have Pedro and Maria and then they have two little kids under 8. maybe 4 and 2
or somethin. but its was great so we now have 2 new simps and we will be going
back tomorrow! but i will be in bolzano so lets hope the two younger
missionaries can handle it! so that was cool then we went and taught leia again
wich was a really good lesson. her uncle was there who is muslim but was very
very happy that we were there helping leia he told us about 20 times how happy
he is that some one wants to help her stay on the right path.
so that was cool now we just gotta make sure they can come to
church!
ohh something funny! we have a little choir here in trento and
they wanted us to sing in it for the christmas festival and well when you dont
have much people to work with you take what you can. we they enjoyed anz
francoms voice so he is in...but me on the other hand well as much as they
needed another guy on the choir they rejected me! I GOT REJECTED FROM A CHOIR OF
ABOUT 5 PEOPLE!!!!! what is this!!!!! I thought i sung good but i guess
not!
