Well its been the holidays and the work has been kinda slow but in a couple days we should be kicking it back up into gear and finding those who are elect.
for new years eve we had a party at teh church it was great, ate some good food, played some funny games. we all got divided up into groups and i was in the red group we had to put together about 6 things then present them to everyone else, we had to come up with a dance, someone had to do an imitation of someone who is there present, we had to act out a skit from the scriptures and have the others guess it, we had to sing a song, and i think that was about it, well We all sang a song and i had to start our group off!!! well thats not very good! they wanted to sing a song called fur mattin, which comes out to be where is thumbkin, we all had to sing it in our own language so i sang in english and we had french and italian, well its a good thing no one understands much english cause i didnt know what i was suppose to sing. first i had to hurry and get the words from my comp and he told me it was where is thumbkin,.... well i have a memory of a goldfish so when i started singing i sung where is thumbstick and i just repeated that several times with the tune while everyone else sang! hahahaha then i also had to do the imitation so as i got up i walked out then walked back in and had my finger as a mustache and had some one ask me who i am and all i had to say was Male grazie, (cause there is this old guy named elio with an intense mustache and whenever you ask him come stai he says male grazie, so everyone got a kick outta that elio laughed his head off it was pretty funny! ohhh you had to be there to understand....these are more of stories for after cause you prolly dont understand it very well at the moment over email. Also on new years eve we held our first district meeting with the district leader Mitchell!!! yay!!! it seemed as all went well it was entertaing yet spiritual "slimy yet satisfying" (name that movie)..............lion king, pumba. I gave a demonstration that we can always have a really spiritual lesson and it goes great but what about our finding work is it as spirtual as our lessons are? So we hope to have more spiritual finding work and more miracles and investigators!
we also had a lesson with some friends one of our members introduced us too, that went really well but they in the end just werent as interested as we hoped they would be and they werent really expecting "us" as in missionaries they wanted more so to meet some peoples and have more friends!
anyways that was about it for our week!
hope you all get over your nasty sicknesses!!! its a good thing im clear over here in italy where i cant get sick!
