I don’t have my other planner with me for the other days so i will just give you a quick run down then start up from Monday.
So last week we met with an investigator Kevin I don’t know if i already told you about him...he is 24 and from Nigeria we are meeting him tonight as well he has a baptismal date for the 25 of Feb. He is super bravo he doesn’t know how to read but that is no problem at all! He came to church this last Sunday and plans on coming this up coming Sunday! He used to meet with the missionaries about a year ago and he had a baptismal date then as well but then he went to Germany looking for work well he doesn’t speak German and there was no work so he came back to Italy and on the way he lost his passport :( so he is a little depressed at the moment! But we are helping him out. He really likes church everyone is nice to him. He will be baptized this month!
Then one day we finally met with Patrick did a sad lesson with him telling him that we could no longer meet with us because he lives in Milan and he needs to meet with the Milano Anziani and go to church there...I had forgotten the suit we bought him at the apartment but I told him I got him one and was very happy and excited to see it! He asked if we could go to the apartment and get it right then...so we did just that got on our bikes I took my wobbly wagon and my companion got on his bike and peddled standing up while Patrick sat on the seat with his legs out to the side we have some photos its pretty funny! We got to the apartment gave him the suit and he was very happy and very grateful for that. Then walked to the bus station and said goodbye but if he is ever in legnano we will grab a kebab with him! He was happy to know that!
Monday we had an appointment. Anz Glowa and guest had found him on scambi talked with him and setup a return appt. well we returned got to his house and he had his jdub bible out side by side with the book of mormon and some anti mormon stuff printed out he found on the internet!!!! stupid internet!!!! anyways it went pretty well he just had a couple questions to ask he was kinda open but at the same time not really....he wasnt really into bashing us and yelling "what is gods name"!!!!!!!!!!!!! but he did bring up that last verse in revelations about nothing should be. We explained all that and he took it pretty well. He wouldn’t let us pray at all but we let him close with his j dub prayer...almost the same prayer we do they just have to add "dear Jehovah" which is weird....
Then Tuesday we had our district meeting with the sisters and the cappi from como came!!! The new cappo in como is Anziano Higgs i believe you all know him as my second companion and now he is my cappo! Very cool! Right after district meeting we went to have some good old Chinese food! yum!!! But then the rest of the day sucked as we had several appointments set up they ended up all canceling on us and it was snowing outside so instead of meeting our appointments in a nice warm house we had to go outside and giro around! YAY
sadly enough i forgot my camera!!!! and we didnt want to run back and grab it so i am sorry! No pictures this time!
the next time i will be able to get packages is friday not this one but the next one! So hopefully everything will arrive and be there on time!
