OK once again i am splitting up my email time....
anyways
Transfers work like this....
Monday he will call up your companion ship and tell you what’s going on...your new comp and if your leaving your city and if you’re going district leader or zone leader (district leader you just conduct the district meetings and are the head of your district) (zone leader You are the head of the zone and you go to every city in your zone to do a scambio...the cappi zona (zone leaders) do a lot of scambis and get to see a lot of Italy)!
But once he calls you, Thursday morning all the missionaries that are changing go to Milano centrale the big station and we all meet in the station...just think of a busy place and add 100 missionaries all in suits and with their luggage...but it’s really really fun...I have had the great opportunity to go to every single transfer and from there you go talk with everyone maybe grab some lunch then head out with your new comp either back to your city or to a new city..
So transfers have come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! duhhh dun dunnnnnnnnnnnnn
WELL I REALLY REALLY REALLY WANTED TO GO TO FIRENZE REALLY BADLY! AND SINCE A REALLY BIG GROUP OF MISSIONARIES ARE GOING HOME WE KNEW ALOT OF MISSIONARIES WOULD BE CHANGING AROUND. WELL.........
I received the call Monday morning from President Wolfgramm........annnnnnd.........I’m staying here in Busto and my companion is going to Firenze.
I guess you can’t always get what ya want but at least he will enjoy the beautiful city. and everything else. I will be staying here in Busto for another 7 weeks then I am for sure out Pres usually doesn’t do more than 4 transfers in a city. So that means I will be doing about 6 months here in Busto. But my companion will be ANZIANO PROCTOR..I know him a little bit... not much but I am excited to be his companion here and show him the Busto ropes and baptize some peeps!!!
And yes its warm abbastanza. Like jacket temperature....10 degress.
well today for p day i will be going to Varese per fare bowling! muahahahaha....harrison better be prepared for when i return!
Soo have i got a story for all of you!
First off i will tell just this one cause nothing crazy happend this week...actually it was carinvale...YA CRAZY HOLIDAY HERE YOU GOTTA LOOK IT UP AND SEE WHAT WENT DOWN.....one word for carnivale... CONFETTI! Anyways carnivale was awesome had a lot of fun...jk...so the other day like Thursday we talked to this guy sitting on a bench. He is from sri lanka. he is muslim. We knew he was muslim but we thought why not talk with him. There is no one else to talk to. So we start talking to him and all of a sudden this older guy comes up to me and says "you speak English" (he could hear my American accent hahah) i said yes i speak English he asks "i need you to help me with something in English" so i said ok so me and that guy went on the bench over while my comp talked to this muslim guy who’s name is Arshed Mohammed...anyways i go and this guy wants me to sing a song he wrote it was in English that’s why! Well i did it. It was right in centro as well. He recorded me while I sang it. He mainly wanted to hear the pronunciation of the words as opposed to my beautiful voice. But that was that very strange. He then made me listen to some of the other songs he wrote that he recorded on his phone. I just kinda tuned out. But then i went back and continued to talking to arshed and they were wrappin up. So we ended with asking him if we can come back on Saturday to give him a Book of Mormon in his language. here in centro. He said yes i will be here.
So Saturday came we are walking towards centro and well Saturday just happened to be the biggest day of carnivale (here in north Italy carnivale lasts a week long and Saturday is the big day in the south Tuesday i believe is the big day) anyways there are just thousands of people all dressed up and confetti and silly string and all sorts of stuff and a huge parade! We were like ohhhh crap we are never going to find him.... well after some searching and phone calling we found arshed and gave him the Book of Mormon and said if you want to come to church tomorrow here is the address and the time...ciao ciao.... so the next day at church.........to be continued as i have only 1 minute left i will finish later today...if i remember muahahahahhaha
Ok so back to where i left off......
We received a call at about 10 30 in the morning during church....and yes it was arshed...he said he was on his bike and will be to the church building soon! hahahaha CRAZY!!! so he came just in time for the sacrament meeting to start and it was ward conference so there were a lot of people there so he didn’t really get to meet anyone, but neither did we there were like 100 people who showed up! usually 50s to 60s come but like 100 or more there were a lot...so anyways since it was ward conference we had to do all the sustaining and what not and we as the missionaries helped sing in the choir...i have a very beautiful voice i guess! But when we came and sat down arshed gave us the thumbs up and said good job! hahahah....then sacrament started and right as they started blessing the bread his phone rang and well him being new to all this went right ahead and answered it! ahhhh it was sooo embarrasing me and glowa were just like ahhh nooo in front of the stake president and all the other people. it was sooo bad we both almost started laughing and he was speakin in his language but he wasnt on the phone for long. got off and sat for a little longer then he had to bail. so he left right after sacrament! but wow he actually came to church! how crazy is that!!!!
So thats that! for today for p day we went to varese to bowl but the bowling place doesn’t open until 8pm so that was a no go! Then we ended up going to como with the cappi to bum around there for a bit. so we did that. Tomorrow i will be in Milano centrale to grab the new elder to Busto! for carnevale yes everyone is all dressed up it was pretty insane...we dressed up as missionaries!
Thats really about alll....im excited to do another here with elder proctor should be pretty fun.
