Ciao ciao!!
Ok well today I am on a computer in the wonderful library of
Trento so there is not much time! I only have 30 minutes!!! Then I have to give
up the computer!! But let’s see...yes our apartment is on the river not exactly
but really close its a little green apartment! let’s see this week has
been....FREEZING!!! and you’re a little late with the letter sending if you’re
sending it to the mission home if not then great also feel free to send manilla
envelopes to the apartment we have a big enough mailbox for them! Maybe just a good
size medium one...maybe with some deodorant now and whatever else to the
apartment...and it’s not a package!! so feel free to send as many as you want!
Well let’s see this week has been a great week we have just
been doing some good finding work and teaching our investigators and what not.
There is one kid in our branch named Saad from brazil who still has a bit of
school left to do but is 19 and has decided to drop school togo on a mission He
speaks English really well and really likes hanging out with us Then there is
this really really nice family here the Aliberti family their daughter who is
19 also is going to go on a mission in march and another girl is going to on a
mission here soon so the little branch will have 3 missionaries out and no youth
haha! Its soo small there are like 3 main families that have kids etc. then
just odds and ends of members. I got up and bore my testimony and introduced myself
to them on Sunday so that was good told them that they need to be more united
and do missionary work!
anyways let’s see
yesterday we did a pass by of a less active lady who doesn’t really like the
church so I thought lets go buy some cookies then see if she still doesn’t like
the church so we got there she was happy to let us in and talk she has a young
kid who gave us everything he gave us some juice boxes an orange some of his
chocolates and some more drink and he was very happy we brought him some
cookies! so that was cool but sadly she likes the evangelist church more and
tried to preach to us by putting on Jimmy swagger who ever that is on the internet to have us watch sadly
it failed as the video she showed us a joke about him and she felt bad. Then we
have had a conference which has changed a lot of things on how we do the
missionary work here! as we now don’t strive just for 20 lessons no matter how
crappy they are but to just teach quality lessons and quality people cause teaching
20 is hard but you can go to muslim park and teach a drunk muslim just for the
number....oohh can’t tell you how many times that has happened just for all the
missionaries here do it so we can meet our "non quota"
"quota" of 20lessons but thankful it’s not like that anymore!
yay!!!! And more about the conference is
they want us to be more BOLD! So I now tell people if they want salvation they
have to read this book cause its the only way it can work! So ya...obviously
there is a lot more that is to be said about the week and the conference but i don’t
know how much time I have left....today we are doing a scambio with bolzano and
doing our PDAY there yay!!! we are going to go up to a cool place on the mtn
that overlooks Bolzano! yay! Ok well just for the sake of how much time is left
and it would stink to get booted off and not get anything sent
