Good day ya old bloats!
Well this week has been quite a jolly!
So first things first those pics well that’s beautiful Trento
there the last pic that is where we always are runnin around in that little
city there !
You can see the duomo and all that good stuff it’s a pretty
sweet place! I really like it...except the fact that our apartment doesn’t have
any heat so therefore I have to sleep with a jacket on and it’s not very
comfortable but it should be getting fixed very soon...its usually warmer
outside then it is in our apartment!
But let’s go over this week shall we?
so right after last p day we began our scambio so me and my
comp we went up to Bolzano to scambio and we did our p day there we played a
lot of b ball but the best thing is they came to pick us up from the station on
their bikes...you remember the pic of chen on the back of my bike well that’s
what we did here! Only this time the bike my comp was riding on well the tire just completely bent. very expensive fix. haha then we played our
bball got some good burger from old wild west this restaurant had a painting of
Utah on the wall...it was weird. Then the scambio begun....SCAMBIO POWER!! Me
and betszold! Well as it got later we went back to pick up our bikes and we
made a contraption to hold the one tire off the ground and roll only one bike
and while we were going we had a less active member call us from across the
road and he bought us some pizza!! SWEET!!!! Yum yum pizza the guy was the brother in law of one of the members in
Pisa. So that was really cool. Then after that we went home and slept. Then the
next day we just had a normal day but more complicated cause there were no
bikes. then for the rescambi the train we missed it so then once we got to Trento
it was too late for Bolzano to go back, so they slept over with us. In that
dark cold apartment from the abyss. Then let’s see pensiamoci.......a couple
days ago we planned to go out to this area called gardolo and to go knock the
street called via b cetto. Well we got there and neither of us has been there
before so we looked around for the road and couldn’t find it. so we just
started knock some doors nothing.... then we started walking back and i stopped
looked down this road and said here lets go knock these....however these were
not your normal looking apartment buildings they were some sketchy confusing
things I can’t explain it. But we went anyways normal I wouldn’t. We went
knocked a couple doors then I saw this apartment building with the light on
someone walking around I said that one! So we went and knocked it the lady didn’t
really understand my companion on the citofono so she let us into the apartment
complex and she came out and said "ohh testimoni di jeova?" we said
"no no noooo" she then said "mormoni"...we said yep! And I
could tell she was elect because she was from Peru! So we got talking then she
let us in her house which is super nice!!! We got talking and taught abo0ut the
church and we will be going back on Friday her names is Rachelle and she has
one daughter and a Italian husband!!! So once we left we felt so happy that we
finally found someone new!! as we were walking out we had to get her address so
we know where to come back to I looked up and the road she lives on is Via b.
Cetto.....I thought that looked familiar I opened my planner bam we planned to
knock those doors at 7pm. when we got in her house it was 7:05! It was sooo
sweet!!!! MIRACLES!!! But really just goes to show that the things you want the
desires of our hearts if they are aligned with Gods desires then all things
that we want will happen! We are now very excited to go back on Friday!!!
That is the miracle of the week! We also have Cristina who is
from Santo Domingo and she has her b date which is nearing and we gave her a practice
baptismal interview and all went well!! She just needs the actual interview and
BAPTISM!!!! Finally it won’t be a "free" 9 yr old baptism! no
no....those are miracles by themselves just shows that we didn’t have the
investigator but we did everything to still earn a baptism from our padre
celesete!
Anyways that’s about all today for p day we are just going
to chillax here in Trento...no I haven’t received your letter yet.
