CIAO!!!!!
So what is new? hmm well me and my companion are sick! I have alot of head congestion and he has a good old cold! so thats new! we were going to go to switzerland today but we are both sick!
isaac still has not found a job. but he is going strong! in fact he just fed us some more nigerian food. its called ego see soup, something like that served with pounded yam! YUM you eat it all with your hands get some pounded yam and scoup up some stew stuff and eat it. umm it wasnt very good. plus the fact where you have to keep dipping your fingers in a bowl of water in the middle of the table to wash your hands (you share the bowl with everyone) but it was a great experience just i am not serving in africa! oh well. we taught him about tithing and fasting and how he can fast and pray to find a job. he said he would do it! and that once he was baptized he will pay his tithe. sweet!
(real quick i just sent taylor a letter about all the work here and some members and otther stuff, so if you would like to know more about that stuff haha he will be getting that letter soon)
so what did this guy do on new years eve in italy??? we arent aloud to leave the house that entire day! so its a cleaning day! so thats what we did we cleaned and when we were done cleaning we napped...so it was a really lazy day basically...but the most amazing part was we went and asked our neighbor if we could have the keys to the roof for that night and he is an older guy, his wife quickly said "no" (all those motherly instincts two young guys wanna go on the roof at midnight i guess she didnt trust us haha) instead she said he would accompany us up there. we were like but we want to go at Midnight! she said there was no problem, she is very nice lady! so 11:50 came around and we went knocked on the door, the man came out and we went onto the roof....i may not be in the most beautiful city but i have never seen anything like this....fireworks were everywhere!!!!!!!!!! i mean everywhere every single direction....(our apartment is fairly tall so it looked over most of the others) but i have never seen a sight like this it was amazing!!!! at midnight we saw about 30 "grand finalies" just in every direction at all distances it was amazing....all there fireworks go off in red white and green for the countrys colors but it was just amazing to see fireworks really everywhere you looked! and to hear all the sirens and ambulances going off just added to the effect! it was awesome!

oh ya for christmas the mission gave us all really nice ties from fireneze!(scarves to the sorelle) ya its awesome also vescovo gave us ties as well! forgot about that
we are teaching mary brando, the wife of the guy who passed away, we are now teaching her and she WILL be baptized asap! just once we give her all the lessons.
ummm ohh tomorrow we will be going to the hospital to see if there is any kind of service to do! like talk with the people or heal the sick or bring back the dead. just some normal service.....haha so we will see about that tomorrow.
