Anyways first off.....
First day of Italy we went to the Duomo and talked to some people most were all tourists! then we got to go inside the Duomo and take pictures so i have some pics of that...I have a great companion. He really likes cars, motorcycles etc. He has been here for almost a year now and has it all down pretty well.
Ok city of Collegno its just outside of Torino so were always in Torino as well. Collegno is like the city of sandy but just a ton of apartment buildings nothing to great there but its a really simple and more safe then Torino. My friend from the MTC is in the city of Torino (Anziano Angel) so we see each other quite often. Torino is an awesome city (Meg you would die here!!!!) its pretty awesome its older than Rome I believe so there is some really cool stuff.
First Sunday was really good!!! I bore a short testimony and passed the sacrament to the 8 people that were there........ohhhhh only 8 you say? Well here in Italy in the month of August everyone leaves. Our ward has about 70 people but during August everyone is gone...everyone!!! So teaching is really tough...just trying to find people is really hard.
The pictures you saw of the mission home on Google maps....well google map is really off...it is not near that location... on the map its a totally different building.

Ok so things I can think of right now.....
We taught this Italian lady here who is an English teacher....who...has been to Island park! What are the odds? Small world she stayed at a cabin that was just enormous and is owned by......Ben Affleck so yes Ben Affleck has a cabin up there....
Also lets see.......There is a guy who isn’t interested in the church who....designs Maseratsi! Yes he designs Maseraties his daughter I guess has been a member for a while now but doesn’t have any friends in the church.
hmmm what else.....we went into a Catholic Church that was really big while the priest was praying for everyone......(strano)
hmmm....to get here I took a train. Very cool.
Oh my companions name is Anziano Cameron Lusvardi... he is Italian!!! That is my companion in the picture. There is an Italia family that lives near Pisa with the last name of Mitchell yay!!! I learned of that from church some members know them and everyone thinks I look Italian.
Hmmm what else... I have had the best pizza and gelato. Gelato almost every day. I have talked to many Italian people.... Collegno is just Italians!...Torino is alot of Africans, Italians, India people, etc..... big tourist place.
Ohhh wow so many things I dont even remember to write about!!!!!!!! ahh! We mainly cook for our selves here. We have a 2 hour break for lunch so we make lunch and do language study alla casa. There is an older lady who brings us fresh fruit each Sunday!!! So that is awesome!!!! We went and visited her the other day she lives far far away. It was on festival of august so there was not a soul in Collegno or Torino its crazy everywhere is just empty and closed. We talked with her and she got a pizza we taught her a lesson and left. We go to the park a lot there are 3 people we teach there. A Peruvian guy who is awesome his name is Luis. Luis is an amazing guy. About 30. Knows everything is true but he isnt married to his wife and his wife and kids live in Peru! So he works and then sends them money......sorry its all jumbled up in there you probably wont understand it but there is just to much to say.
But I do do a lot of BIKING!!!! Yay!! Exercise!!!! We bike almost everywhere in Collegno. Collegno is also known for a lot of street racing so at night we hear all these cars going and racing etc...also a TON of motorcycles here. Very popular place for motorcycles (not vespas) but there are alot of vespas as well......
Oh mom I bet you didn’t think about me biking on the crazy Italian roads!!! Round Abouts are the craziest!!! just joking...
Ok maybe I will write an actual letter one day when I have time. There is still a TON of other things I need to tell everyone!
But overall its awesome, I am enjoying it, my companion is SWEET!, and its very enjoyable here. Oh I have to give a talk in church on the 28th ughhh perchè!!!!
