Email #2 P-Day in Italy

*Here is this weeks email (family and uncles combined) from Elder Man of Few Words!!!

Yes there is a bidet thing in our bathroom. I have yet to use it. It is very strange. I don't trust it! Last Sunday a RM and his mom came to our church and she really enjoyed it and she wanted to call you!!! Just to tell you how I was doing. So I gave her your number, but I think she is still in Italy for a few more days. Mom you said there probably isnt a bad city in all of italy...well there is. Its called Collegno it is kinda small and boring, but the good thing is all the cities we can go to around it are really cool!!!...... Alot of cities nearby are part of the Tour di France. My companion got to watch that while he was here.

Yesterday was my first split! So I got to work in Torino with Anziano Minà who is Italian and only speaks Italian....difficult day! We taught alot of people. One thing I learned is if your a missionary and you live in Torino you can never be out late cause if your late getting home that means you have to take the long way home because......there are soooo many daughters of god on the street corners who want to hear the gospel.....but we just cant share it with them in fact we have to avoid them!!!! Hahaha!!!

Our week consists of a lot of finding people cause we have 0 investigators right now cause its Agosto (August) no one is here during Agosto so all in all we dont do to much! But find find find.....and no one is interested! Oh well we keep finding....once Agosto is over we will be good to go! My apartment is right in Collegno, but we're in Torino at least 3 times a week. There is a lot of cool stuff in Torino. I went to this church Basilica of Superga today its awesome. When we were in Milan I did not get to go on top of the cathedral. But before I forget this cool thing about it, they have a bright light up in the ceiling high above everything, its a little box that claims to have one of the nails that nailed Christ to the cross....pretty interesting. But who knows probably just a nail from Home Depot. haha!

My apartment is pretty nice. small and simple, I have yet to take any pics of it yet so I will do that....

mmmm mexican food! I have yet to find one but in Genova there is supposedly AWESOME mexican/spanish food and Genova is in my zone so I possibly could go there but its a long train ride. But we have thought about it.

hmmmm yup i only miss La Puenta and Cafe Rio. Thats all!
