Today is the Day!!!

Zack called from the airport this morning and we got a quick 6 minutes to chat. Why 6 minutes you may ask!!! Because he first needed to find a pizza hut! It's not like he is going to be pizza deprived for the next 2 years, but I guess he was excited to have something besides MTC food!!! So anyway it was great hearing his voice! We asked him to say something in Italian and he did amazing!!! He rattled the First Vision off to us in Italian so quickly! He said his first stop in Milan is at the Cathedral!!! He is so ready to go and get to work! Hopefully he will have time to call us from Chicago and London but I guess that all depends on how HUNGRY he is!!!!!

P.S. We heard from him again on his layover in Chicago. He sounded good although a bit tired. He said there were about 28-30 missionaries that would be on the flight to London. Once they get to London they will split up and some will head to Africa others to Rome and his group to Milan. It was fun hearing all the Elders in the background! They all sounded so excited and ready to go especially Elder Lacey and Elder Barker. I had made an activity book for the airplane by tearing pages out of The Friend and The Era and putting them together in a folder. I tore out the pages that had games, puzzles, search and finds, unscramble the word, guess the scripture, etc. etc. etc. I told him I hope he didn't feel like he was 5 years old but it would keep him busy on his flight if he got bored!!! And he said he loved it!!! He said he would call from London if he has time. It will be about 2 in the morning here but thats ok. I will gladly take a 2 in the morning call to talk to him again.
